You, the single parent of five small children, are stricken with a terminal disease. If you die, they will all have hard, long, unfulfilling, miserable, awful lives, and will die slow, painful, torturous deaths; what’s more, they will have no children, and will do nothing meaningful in life. You may either die naturally from your disease, or put the children into your car and drive into a lake together, killing everyone at once. Otherwise, no one will save them from their misery. Do you kill the kids while you have the chance, or let them live on?
